When I think of mountains I think of Himalayas. To walk amongst world’s highest peaks towering over you, is a humbling experience of a lifetime. And if it’s a more remote region where modern development (read - roads, wi-fi, fancy meals, comfy beds and hot showers) hasn’t caught up yet, you’re able to witness the unspoilt culture of the true highlanders. It’s not an easy walk, at times you’re completely out of breath, but those breathtaking views are worth every step. I have been in Nepal twice already and will be returning in spring 2020 for a month-long trek in the remote Kanchenjunga region.
